slenderbodies is Max Vehuni and Benji Cormack. The duo have spent the last two years exploring the wistfulness of lost youth, and the fleeting moments we pursue to try to feel innocent euphoria again. The pair stretch their roots beyond the breezy, silky grooves of their original catalog and expand into something new with the latest album 'the sugar machine'.
Max and Benji met as college freshman and released their debut EP, 'sotta voce' in 2016 and followed it up with their 'fabulist' EP the next year via Majestic Casual Records. Their career was truly set in motion as lead single anemone currently garners more than 90 million plays across platforms.
Throughout their seven years of activity, the duo has since shared the stage with the likes of Eden, Louis the Child, Poolside, Gothbabe, Big Gigantic (at Red Rocks), Half-Alive, Passion Pit, PVRIS, Milky Chance and more, with their live set described by mxdwn "like a kiss to the ears". Max and Benji have also played choice festivals including Lollapalooza, Life is Beautiful, Electric Forest, Lightning in a Bottle and Live Out as well as embarking on multiple sold out US headline tours.
