Event Details

The success of any collaboration is dependant on a myriad of factors, some obvious, others less tangible. Slava and Sharon Grigoryan are an example of such a synergy, resulting in music that connects deeply with the listener.

Their repertoire spans cultures, generations and genres – from standard repertoire for guitar and cello (Vivaldi, Granados, Piazzolla) to works by contemporary composers, their own compositions and arrangements which shine a new light on familiar favourites.

The repertoire they will be performing at The Lab will be;
 “Jobiniana No.4” - Assad  (7:00)
“Piece en Forme de Habanera”- Ravel  (3:00)
Cello solo: “Reclaiming the Spirit”- Sarah Hopkins, “Prelude” from 1st cello suite- Bach (6:00)
“Cafe 1930”- Piazzola   (7:00)
Guitar solo: “The Sounds of Rain”- Lovelady (8:00)
