Have you got a hunger that no ordinary meal seems to satisfy? Looking for that special something to fill you up? Or maybe you just have a ravenous appetite for dancefloor delights?

Well, you’re not alone, and Shandy Party has been anticipating your need for a bountiful buffet of moreish morsels and edible elegance to nourish your body and soul.

Shandy, in association with Point Productions, invites you to take a seat, peruse the menu, and loosen your belts and harnesses as you join us for…

ALL YOU CAN EAT

friday 24th june | 8:30pm - 2am | the tivoli

It’s time to don your most appetising apparel and serve some luscious looks, as we funnel into The Tivoli to fill it up with your finest food-inspired fashion like crème pâtissière in a chouquette (although seriously, please don’t bring actual food – a good dinner guest minimizes the mess they make).

Follow us to your table - because we’ve been working up a sweat in the kitchen to create the party of your dreams; with mouth-watering music, divine desserts, and tasty talent ready to be dished out and devoured by our famished queer family.

But first, you simply must try the special of the night, all the way from New York City, we’re pleased to welcome…

CAKES DA KILLA

Exploding out of New York in the early 2010s, Cakes (@cakesdakilla) quickly solidified his spot as a game-changing rapper, MC and leading figure amongst a new wave of queer hip hop artists.

Mixing 90’s grit and cadence with high energy club beats – Cakes delivers witty flow, saucy charm and ruthless takedowns over undeniably hot and heavy beats. He’s set the world on fire with tracks, like ‘I Run This Club’, ‘New Phone (Who Dis)’, and ‘Don Dada’ It’s no wonder he’s in high demand with producers, with previous collaborations featuring LSDXOXO, Honey Dijon and DJ Shiftee.

But save some room, because we’ve got bain-maries filled to the brim with performers to plate up for you, including…

Brandi Cootch ~

Crimson Coco ~

Luna Thicc ~

With a musical accompaniment kindly provided to match the evening’s courses provided by…

We respectfully acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we hold this event, the Turrbal, Jagera/Yuggera peoples and pay respects to Elders, past and present - and also pay respects and offer our love to the First Nations community attending our event. We recognise that Sovereignty was never ceded and that we live and gather on stolen land.

We want people to feel as safe and welcome as possible, so please feel free to message the Shandy Instagram or Facebook page with any queries or concerns.

As always, please don't assume any one's gender or pronouns. A fun way to ask is to start by giving someone a compliment, and asking for their name and pronouns.

Consent is key – ask before touching and await a clear response; fuck yes or no thank you!

The bathrooms will not be gendered - they either have urinals, or don't.

Finally, the venue is wheelchair accessible. If you have specific access requirements or queries, please don't hesitate to let us know so we can make your arrival as smooth as possible

Be respectful and considerate – do your bit to make the space safer and more comfortable for others: a party is only as good as the people attending, and we all have a role to play in having the best night ever!

Racist, sexist, ableist, homophobic, or transphobic behaviour/attitudes will not be tolerated. Please see staff or security if someone is making you uncomfortable, or message the Shandy Facebook page. We will also have our Shandy angels and a contact number to call if you need assistance on the night.

Last but not least, look out for your friends and other party-goers & stay hydrated!
