From 7–9 August 2024, music industry experts, artists, policymakers, academics, and community leaders from the NT and beyond will gather in Darwin to amplify Australia’s regional music industry.

7 AUGUST: : NT MUSIC INDUSTRY ROUNDTABLE & LOCAL CONTENT

The NT Music Industry Roundtable is an opportunity for the local industry to come together and discuss the key priorities and issues affecting the NT. 

8–9 AUGUST: TICKETED SUMMIT PROGRAM

Over two days (Thurs–Fri), the Regional & Remote Music Summit will feature panels and workshops that delve into the current research and policy relevant to the sector, while providing a platform to connect and share innovative ideas and experiences. 10 AUGUST: STAY FOR THE 20TH NATIONAL INDIGENOUS MUSIC AWARDS (NIMAS)

MusicNT welcomes all Summit participants to stay for the 20th National Indigenous Music Awards (NIMAs) on 10 August, celebrating 20 years of recognising the talent and achievements of First Nations music and musicians. Find more information about the NIMAs on the Darwin Festival website.
