Fotis Vergopoulos returns to Melbourne for a unique rebetiko extravaganza in the heart of Brunswick! Leading this all-star local line up of musicians, Fotis represents the next generation of talent from Greece and his musicianship and feel for rebetika (Greek Blues) is inimitable.
 
 Fotis was initiated into the world of music at the age of 6 by his father, Nikos, an inaugural member of the Apodimi Kompania. He has toured Europe extensively as well as Africa, Australia and New Zealand. He currently lives in Athens where he has performed with many notable artists including Stellios Vamvakaris, Martha Fritzila, Socratis Malamas and Manolis Pappos to name a few.
 
 Joining Fotis on stage are special guests and stalwarts of the Melbourne rebetika scene: Kostas Papapanagiotou - Bouzouki and vocals
 Stavrina Dimitriou – Vocals
 Wayne Simmons - Double bass
 Con Kalamaras - Guitar
 
 This performance is proudly presented by Greek Fringe.

Brunswick Ballroom will be operating under the current Victorian State Government guidelines as we continue to live with this pandemic. 

The venue will be taking a number of precautionary measures to ensure patron safety, including:

 - Signage and social distancing markers throughout the venue
 - Regular sanitising of the venue and full clean between sittings

The Brunswick Ballroom also strives to improve our practices when it comes to sustainability and to reduce our carbon footprint. We don’t sell or provide plastic water bottles.
