Spotify’s Australian home for alternative electronic music, Portal, comes together with House of Darwin and AFENDS to celebrate the rawness of the Northern Territory, with the dry season’s ultimate outdoor club party, Return To Earth on September 17.

A mix of thriving forces from Australia’s underground electronic music scene and First Nations communities, DJ PGZ, SOVBLKPSSY, Kalyani and Jono Ma, will invite you to step through the portal at Darwin CBD’s Austin Lane Carpark for an all-night immersive adventure to the backdrop of the Northern Territory.

DJ PGZ is a Gunai/Kurnai & Yorta Yorta artist, DJ and producer, harnessing a deep love for underground club sounds from around the world. His sets explore the contemporary works of Black and Brown producers in dance music, fusing hard techno with dark, sparse and bass-heavy drum syncopations.

SOVBLKPSSY aka Juanita Sumner (she/they) is a Ngarrindjeri, Ramindjeri, Walkandi-Woni multi-instrumentalist, producer and DJ. Ngarrindjeri women are traditionally the keepers of the rhythm in ceremony and SOVBLKPSSY is an embodiment of that. Her sets include deep sounds of global club music worldwide.

Kalyani is an idiosyncratic DJ with her finger firmly on the pulse of cutting-edge tunes from music scenes across the globe. Her unpredictable and versatile DJ sets are always fun and dynamic, full of unexpected twists and turns.

Jono Ma is the Sydney born turned London-based multi-instrumentalist, award winning film composer, producer, mixer, DJ and musical director who is best known for his international success as the main creative force and founding member of Jagwar Ma.
