Two of the University of Adelaide’s most famous O’Week events have joined forces to present the biggest party of 2020. You’ve had the welcome lectures, the campus tours and the program talks, so now it’s time put on your dancing shoes for O’Ball/ Skullduggery! For one night only, we’re taking back control of the Maths Lawns for a massive night of bands and drink specials amongst the stunning and historic University of Adelaide campus.

All throughout the Nineties and Noughties, iconic Australian bands took to the stage to rock uni crowds at AUU O’Ball. In recent years, the 124-year-old legend that is Skullduggery has carried on underground. Until this year. These two events are joining forces to make a comeback and return to campus, opening up the 2020 academic year in a combo so unbeatable that it will shake the uni to its foundation.

You’ve heard about these legendary nights, so come see the age-old Orientation Week tradition yourself, and see that there’s more to university than lectures and tutorials.

Confidence Man

Confidence Man are unarguably one of the hottest acts on the planet right now. A portable party that’s levelled dance floors and flattened festival crowds as it’s rolled out across the world, their performances are custom designed to make you dance and lose your cool.

Alice Ivy

Alice Ivy’s eclectic signature sound spans sample-influenced soul, hip-hop and electronic pop that she brings to life in a live setting by demonstrating her proficiency as a multi-instrumentalist. O’Ball/ Skullduggery is proudly presented by Adelaide University Union, Adelaide Medical Students' Society – AMSS and The University of Adelaide.

The Adelaide University Union was established in 1895 and since then has always had the aim of making student life fun and accessible and to give students a voice at the University. The Union runs a wide range of services including academic advocacy, events, volunteering programs, student media channels and much more.

Established in 1896, Skullduggery has been running O’Week parties for students, by students for decades. Held on the Thursday of O’Week, it lived in the Cloisters for decades before moving to the HQ. A name meaning trickery and shenanigans, there is no doubt Skullduggery will add exhilaration to this number one O’week event

University of Adelaide Student Tickets are valid for UNIVERSITY OF ADELAIDE Students only. To gain entry you are required to present a valid UofA Student ID or you will be directed to upgrade your ticket. Union and AMSS Membership tickets are valid to current members only, proof of membership will be required upon entry or you will be directed to upgrade your ticket.
