NO TOMORROW ☻♡ March 17 w/
DANIEL AVERY (2hrs) UK
Performing for the first time in QLD, atmospheric techno legend Daniel Avery is playing a two hour set in a dark-room style takeover this Sunday. Multi-dimensional, mind-bending and rapturous electronic which can also be soothing, delicate and orchestral. This is a rare two hour set from one of the very best. Early fans will know Daniel from his highly influential EP Drone Logic in 2013. New fans will know him from his evolved energetic productions with CONFIDENCE MAN and HAAi.
DAN SHAKE (2hrs) UK
Spotify would show you dazzling disco hits which sing for eternity, but soundcloud will show you one of the worlds' most in-demand DJ's who’s full of charm. Dan Shake is a party machine, akin to the type of set from acts like Laurence Guy. Featuring jacking house, Brazilian disco, soulful samples and vintage throwbacks to the Chicago and Detroit era. Once he hits a peak in energy, he’s going to keep you there. Each DJ set, be it an all-nighter or a festival power hour, leaves audience of all stripes, sizes, ages and abilities grinning.
WILLIAM KISS (1.5hrs) NAARM
We think William Kiss is Australia's most underrated techno producer. Gritty but groovy industrial techno including 'Like This', and 'I Can Feel It' have amassed frequent plays from the likes of Carl Craig, Carl Cox, Narciss, and Call Super, with releases for Radio Slave and Pig & Dan. Already having played at Beyond The Valley, and headlining Club Above at the Ivy this Saturday, this is a name to watch. With a decisive focus on percussive, rumbling baselines and main floor melodies, Kiss creates techno that turns heads, played by tastemakers globally.
Representing our Meanjin dance scene are No Tomorrow debuts from the tasteful jazz and dub DJ; JUNO as well as versatile DJ SWEAT.
This is a place where dance icons meet genre pushing prodigies under one roof. Drop the phone and drop the worries, and dance like there's no tomorrow 🪩🌴 We're completely air-conditioned, with friendly drink selections, outdoor beer garden, entertainment zone and a Thai inspired dining menu. Drop the weight of past and future, and dance like there’s No Tomorrow! ♡ ☻
