Join Mosaic as they make their Lazybones debut, launching their first album Where We Are Now!
Mosaic is a vibrant 10-piece contemporary Jazz ensemble rapidly emerging as an exciting force in the Sydney Jazz scene!
Mosaic are proud to be launching their debut album Where We Are Now.
Recorded at the Founders Studio in June of 2024, WWAN is a collection of original large ensemble works that display a cross section of Sydney's growing jazz and composition scene.
As Fine Music Sydney’s 2024 Artist in Residence, Mosaic have held a bimonthly residency at Foundry616, as well as played jazz festivals across NSW including the Conservatorium Jazz Festival. This show is the first show in a tour that includes appearances at Melbourne’s Jazzlab and the Wangaratta Jazz Festival.
Mosaic will be joined by Zodiac - a collaborative four-piece band gathered from Sydney's vibrant music scene.
The quartet featuring Jordan Chung (piano), Hinano Fujisaki (tenor saxophone), Sabine Tapia (double bass) and Manson Luk (drums), form to create a sound rich with passion and storytelling deeply inspired by their Asian-Australian experiences.
“[Mosaic] gives me great hope for the future of creative original music in Australia, hearing younger musicians brave enough to present it with dedication and Enthusiasm!” – James Ryan, Sonic Mayhem & The Subterraneans.
