This year, we’re thrilled to be celebrating ten years of Milk! Records at Oxford Art Factory. Milk! Records was founded in 2012 to release Courtney Barnett’s first EP ‘I’ve Got a Friend Called Emily Ferris’. Milk! Records has championed and released over 60 titles in the last decade, supporting local independent artists as well as internationally established acts.

Milk!’s roster includes Australian artists Courtney Barnett, Jen Cloher, Dyson Stringer Cloher, Hachiku, Liz Stringer, The Finks, Jade Imagine, Mess Esque, Loose Tooth, and East Brunswick All Girls Choir as well as international artists Sleater-Kinney, Chastity Belt, Hand Habits, Tiny Ruins and Bachelor.

Milk! has always strived to be a queer and queer-friendly community of artists and arts workers who share their experience, time, resources and presence to transform the music industry into a space of collaboration, discovery, inclusion, and independence. Milk! Records is committed to building relationships based on mutual trust and consent.

Milk! was awarded Best Independent Label at the 2015 and 2018 Australian Independent Record Labels Association Awards.

"It’s amazing and overwhelming to look back and see how much Milk! has grown over ten years. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has helped out and supported the label along the way, thank you for helping us make so many wonderful memories and share so many beautiful albums! I’m looking forward to what comes next, but for now I’m really excited to celebrate this moment with Milk! & Friends in December. See you at the shows! CB x "

We’re so excited to be celebrating such an important milestone this 2022, and look forward to seeing you at our Double Digits parties to celebrate together.

We acknowledge that the Gadigal people of the Eora nation are the true owners of the land on which this performance takes place. Their sovereignty over this land has never been ceded. We pay our respects to their Elders past & present and acknowledge the ways that we have benefited from, and continue to benefit from the ongoing theft of this land and erasure of First Nations culture, voices and lives.
