After a nearly five-year hiatus, Canadian R&B/Folk singer-songwriter Meiwa returns with new music and a new band to celebrate the release of her latest EP “Eire”. Join her at Shotkickers on Thursday, November 28th for an unforgettable night of soulful, immersive music.

Supported by the incredible talents of Priscilla Stanley and Pirritu, this event promises to showcase Meiwa’s signature sound—praised for its strong, angelic vocals and captivating blend of smooth, vintage instrumentals. “Eire” is a musical journey of self-discovery, written during Meiwa’s travels across Ireland in 2023. The EP encapsulates themes of resilience, unrequited love and loneliness, woven through introspective lyrics and vivid imagery. Featuring singles "Chapter" and "Savour," “Eire” takes listeners through moments of empowerment, reflection and renewal.

Produced, engineered and mixed by James Seymour and mastered by Isaac Barter, the EP also features Jarred Young on drums, adding to the EP's groovy and heartfelt sound.
