Event Details

A night of Afro-Latin, Afro-house, Afro-tech, Amapiano, gQom and more from Campstelli, Dantzix, Dj Marina and Djuker.

Join Dantzix—the enigmatic UK-born Caribbean DJ, producer, and Afrofuturism artist at his last Australian gig before he heads overseas to Nyege Nyege fest in Uganda and South Africa to work with Mbuso De Mbazo.

This event marks the launch of Dantzix’s 10th studio album this year, titled X, a project delving deep into the shadow side and mystical roots of African rhythms. X is Tribal beats and spirituality crafted for the modern dancefloor - dripped in culture. He'll be playing a high energy DJ set as well as live; joined by Djucker - the Aboriginal Viking - whose hypnotic didgeridoo playing will add a primal and raw energy.

The lineup also features Marina, a fixture from the Perreo Latin Party - DJ and dance teacher - bringing her infectious Afro Latin and Latin bass grooves - and Campstelli from Encamped, blending the cutting-edge sounds of Afrohouse, Amapiano, and tribal electronic.

Echoes of Africa is a night of African-inspired music, a sonic ritual of joy, dance, celebration and community. For those ready to experience the roots of modern dance, Latin and electronic music this is a night not to be missed.
