Secret Sounds along with Adelaide based Five Four Entertainment and Groove are thrilled to announce SUMMER SOUNDS FESTIVAL, a new SA Health approved concert summer series that is set to bring live music, summer sounds and all the party vibes back to South Australia!

Rolling out the good times at the lush, oh so central and easily accessible Bonython Park, Adelaide from 08 January to 31 January, Summer Sounds’ 16 date run of shows includes Aussie icons, triple j favourites, a bunch of the hottest newcomers and a couple of supersized sing-alongs.

Patrons will have the choice of booking a VIP, Gold, Silver or Bronze Party Pod. Each pod is an island oasis for a group of 4 or 6 people and decked out with its own esky of pre ordered drinks and tasty snacks.

Singing…check. Dancing…check. The Party Pods are ready for all the action you’ve been missing!

Alongside pre ordered drinks, patrons will be able to order additional beverages at the show through the Summer Sounds event app, which will then be delivered directly to their Party Pod via a fleet of golf buggy mobile bars. It’s the VIP treatment you’ve always dreamed of!

For those who need a little extra snackage on the day, alongside the pre order options there’ll also be a range of food trucks at the ready.

So check out the lineup, wrangle your mates and get ready to return to live music programming as usual this December and January as Summer Sounds brings the festival feels back to Adelaide

MALLRAT

Indie pop artist, Mallrat makes music that ‘documents being human and imperfect’, which is perhaps why she is so widely adored today. Her honest lyrics appeal so intently to the generation in which she lives, and her bright & uplifting melodies will play along in your head for days. Collaborations with artists such as Allday, Basenji and New Zealand’s BENEE have seen Mallrat’s career reach new territories, with even more on the horizon for the young artist.

CUB SPORT

Cub Sport has undergone a transformation from local indie band to global pop powerhouse. With a community and message that is impacting lives worldwide, the prolific independent Brisbane group and forging their own path to global acclaim. The band’s newly released fourth record, LIKE NIRVANA is a glistening, tightly-woven exploration of religious reckoning, oppressive structures of masculinity, and feelings of inadequacy.

SYCCO

Sycco is 19-year-old Sash McLeod, an Australian singer/writer/producer on the rise, thanks to her colourful, pop-infused neo-soul, standout voice and droll turn of phrase. She shared single ‘Peacemaker’ last November to an immediately positive response from fans and media. ‘Dribble’ is the latest in a string of consistently impressive singles that have won the 19-year-old artist praise from Billboard, NME and more.

STELLIE

Making the leap from bedroom artist to knockout shows at the BIGSOUND 2019 industry showcase, Stellie is a young Adelaide artist on the cusp of bigger things. Inspired by strong female voices, her tender and personal tales, over beats and shimmering guitar, are indie-pop slow-burners that cut straight to the heart.
