The Songwriter’s Session is an event that centres around storytelling featuring artists; Marlena, cate guirguis, and Eva Diana. Join us for an intimate evening of music, we would love nothing more than to come together with family and friends and help add some more magic to this wonderful time of year.

Eva’s music is a mix of pop, folk and singer-songwriter genres and she is heavily influenced by the Americana scene in the U.S., combining country and rock to tell unique stories. Currently based in Sydney, after graduating from the Sydney Conservatorium, Eva Diana grew up in Byron Bay where she developed her performance skills and a deep appreciation for the environment. Some of her many inspirations include; Brandi Carlile, Angie McMahon, and Fleetwood Mac.

Marlena is a folk singer who’s classically trained vocals shine through, self-accompanied with acoustic guitar, ukulele and piano. The Sydney based singer/songwriter writes acoustic songs about nature, strife and hope. Influenced by artists such as Missy Higgins, Aurora and Joni Mitchell her songs will take you on a journey of emotional landscapes, stories of life, love and growing up.

cate guirguis is a singer songwriter from Sydney who makes indie-pop music, featuring gentle melodies and focusing on lyrics that draw from her past and the experiences of those around her. Her live looping adds theatricality to her show, adding luscious textures to her music, and conveying her obsession with vocal layering, drawn from years of choral experience. Musically inspired by the likes of Missy Higgins, Gracie Abrams and Taylor Swift, her music aims to touch audiences through its relatability.
