The Noah Mejia Quartet is a group of jazz musicians studying at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. The ensemble strives to artfully present their audience with music that conveys a unique sense of personal voice within the idiom of modern and contemporary jazz. The set will consist of a mixture of original compositions as well as a selection of some of their favourite modern tunes and standards, inspired by the likes of Ben Van Gelder, Bill Frisell, Linda May Han Oh, Kurt Rosenwinkel, etc. The opportunity to witness the cultivation and development of this emerging jazz artist's sound is one that is not to be missed.
