Jack Hawthorne is a Sydney based guitarist and composer. With strong roots back home on the family farm near Ardlethan (NSW), his music has brought him all the way to Sydney where he is currently studying Jazz at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Carving out a unique sound that echoes tradition and mirrors innovation, Jack has performed on stages such as the ICC Sydney, Theatre Royal Sydney, Seymour Centre, Foundry616, and Butchers Brew, working professionally in the jazz and musical theatre scenes.
Elliot and Jack formed an instant bond when meeting in high school and have been playing together ever since. On this night, they are joining forces alongside rhythm section powerhouse, Sabine Tapia (bass) and Matt Simmonds (drums). Inspired by the textural blend of alto sax and guitar, the Hawthorne/Wong Quartet will be delivering an exhilarating night of their favourite music, including some of their own compositions.
They hope to see you there!
