Soaring guitar
Kellindo’s gentle speaking voice and humble manner might have you thinking he’s simply a great guitarist who plays the local circuit, but whether it’s his impeccably tailored suits or trademark Ramones-style coiffure, everything else about him screams rock star of the highest order. Kellindo’s lineage and resume are a Who’s Who of music history, his uncles Melvin and Maceo Parker are pioneers who laid the foundations of funk alongside James Brown, George Clinton and P-Funk and even Prince. Kellindo has performed with artists ranging from Stevie Wonder to No Doubt, Bruno Mars to Earth, Wind and Fire, and is a longtime co-writer, collaborator, and lead guitarist for the most electrifying artist of our times, the inimitable Janelle Monae. Sought after on stage or in the studio, both as a writer and a multi-instrumentalist, it is with a guitar in hand that his star power comes alive. Whether with a full string section, a pounding blues-rock trio or trading solos face to face with Prince at Madison Square Garden, there’s no denying the distinctive look and unmistakable, soaring guitar sound that can be summed up with one name: Kellindo.
Kellindo will be joined by Teresa Green, 6 piece band.
Teresa Green are a collective of 6 individuals, coming together to create an innovative sonic experience.
