Our favourite roots reggae rockers from across the ditch head back to Australia in October & November for a run of dates across Australia around their Rolling Hills and Island Vibe festival shows. Katchafire will be celebrating the release of their forthcoming new single “Always With You”.
Along for the ride will be fellow New Zealanders Masaya with their mash of Indie/Groove/Soul/Roots who recently released their debut album “Chronicles Of Youth” (not appearing at Rolling Hills).
Katchafire have been spending time in Aotearoa studios recording new music and while they were not able to tour overseas since the pandemic began in March 2020.
The band headed to Europe in July 2022 and North America in September and are looking forward to their first full Aussie tour since 2019. Katchafire have long been prolific international tourers and 2021 was the first year the band did travel overseas since 2006.
Not resting on their laurels whilst international borders were closed, the Katchafire released 2 new singles “Circle Back” and “Whaingaroa” as well as releasing their “100” single in Te Reo (Māori language) as part of the Waiata / Anthems documentary series.
