Jack Biilmann returns to Sydney with Clare Hennessy & KP Hydes in support.

Jack Biilmann is back into the spotlight in a big way with new single Shade. Shade shows off all of Biilmann’s strongest assets in one extremely neat package built on songwriting experience and calculated musicianship. Since his last tour Biilmann has been extremely busy working behind the scenes on a new project, sharing the stage arguably Australia’s biggest musical export John Farnham ,earned a guitar endorsement with world famous brand Maton guitars and stacks more exciting things that at this point aren’t able to be public knowledge.

As to be expected, Shade delivers the world class Biilmann guitar playing, clever lyrics, growling vocals and blues laced harmonica but that’s really just the tip of the Ice berg. As a follow up to the highly sucessful 2018 release of The Hills Have Eyes, Shade comes as an extremely appropriate jam with some alternative elements with a fresh approach. The production team of Matt Barnes (recording engineer) & Kay Ansah (Mixing engineer & beats) have done a stellar job on producing a very polished modern blues/roots track. Don’t miss your opportunity to see Jack in extremely intimate rooms on this run  and sing loud and proud when that anthem of a chorus hits.

Clare Hennessy:

Clare began writing as a playwright. After a stint of challenges with her mental health, she sought to heal in a brand new way: combining music with words. Her delicate vocals soar over textural, gothic folk sounds, creating a tension between the dark and the light that defines her inner world. Her debut EP "April" honoured a coming into herself and sharing that inner world for the first time. She continues to delve into the heartbreaking honesty and whimsy with nimble vocals reminiscent of Joni or Phoebe Bridgers.

KP Hydes:

KP is a fresh rapper/songwriter based in the inner west of Sydney. His first single 'Home Alone' is a look into the life of a young man finding his way in the city while navigating failing relationships and exes. His smooth delivery and introspective lyricism will have you on your feet and in your feelings. Accompanied by Ben Forte and Alec Brinsmead, two of Sydney's most promising young musicians, this will be a performance not to be missed.
