In celebration of hard hitting new single SHADE, Jack Biilmann is back on tour and stopping by Melbourne.

Jack Biilmann is back into the spotlight in a big way with new single Shade. Shade shows off all of Biilmann’s strongest assets in one extremely neat package built on songwriting experience and calculated musicianship. Since his last tour Biilmann has been extremely busy working behind the scenes on a new project, sharing the stage arguably Australia’s biggest musical export John Farnham ,earned a guitar endorsement with world famous brand Maton guitars and stacks more exciting things that at this point aren’t able to be public knowledge.

As to be expected, Shade delivers the world class Biilmann guitar playing, clever lyrics, growling vocals and blues laced harmonica but that’s really just the tip of the Ice berg. As a follow up to the highly sucessful 2018 release of The Hills Have Eyes, Shade comes as an extremely appropriate jam with some alternative elements and fresh approach. The production team of Matt Barnes (recording engineer) & Kay Ansah (Mixing engineer & beats) have done a stellar job on producing a very polished a modern groove heavy blues/roots track Don’t miss your opportunity to see Jack in extremely intimate rooms on this run + sing loud and proud when that anthem of a chorus hits.

Rosie Luby is a singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Melbourne’s inner northern suburbs. In 2014, she was the recipient of the “Stars on the Lake” award at the Lake School of Celtic Music, Song and Dance. Since then she has played at many local and interstate folk festivals including the Port Fairy Folk Festival (VIC), the National Celtic Festival (VIC) and Beyond Festival (NSW), and has been the school’s cello tutor since 2016. In 2015, she recorded on prolific Australian singer/songwriter, producer, author and activist, Shane Howard’s 13th solo Album Deeper South, and is an active member of Victoria’s traditional Celtic and folk music scene. Rosie’s unique approach to her own compositions has seen a nuanced yet powerful voice emerge. She performs with surety and humility- a rare combination that certainly sets her apart.
