Welcome to Sounds of Summer with Ben Lee and Jack Botts. A magical one-night-only concert held at the Sound Shell / The Glade in Inverloch ✨✨
Sounds of Summer celebrates live music, our beautiful coastline and our stunning region. Let’s enjoy the magic of music, live in Inverloch 💫🎶
Multiple ARIA award-winning Australian singer-songwriter, activist, and lo-fi pop legend Ben Lee brings his distinctive sound to Inverloch. Ben’s career began as a teenager in the early 90s punk band Noise Addict, who were discovered by taste-making artists Sonic Youth and the Beastie Boys. “Cigarettes Will Kill You”, from 1999’s Breathing Tornadoes, has become a modern Australian classic, while 2005’s Awake is the New Sleep brought Ben to worldwide attention, generating the double platinum, ARIA-winning alterna-hit “Catch My Disease” and the enduring “We’re All in this Together”, a song that has become an anthem of sorts for a troubled world over the past year.
Jack Botts is a breath of fresh air out of the Northern Rivers of NSW, creating a brand of surf folk drenched in depth and substance. Jack has spent the last 18 months on the road across Australia and on the streets of Byron Bay building his fanbase organically. He has coupled headline shows with supporting the likes of Tash Sultana, John Floreani, Pierce Brothers, Ash Grunwald and more. Deep-thinking, heart-string-pulling and utterly endearing, Jack Botts is a breath of fresh air poised to command widespread attention before too long.
