Join us at the Triffid to celebrate the life, music and art of local legend, Nathan Smith. Tragically, Nathan lost his fight with cancer on 29th June 2022, leaving behind his band The Glycereens and a legacy of creativity that calls for a celebration of great heights.

Featuring live music from two of Nathan's bands, The Glycereens (2018-2022) and BMX-Ray (2005-2015, reforming for one night only with Mike Findlay on bass), along with sets from Nath's mates SixFtHick, FAT, Some Jerks, Dirty F Holes, The Strike-Outs (Sydney) and Suicide Country Hour.

A gallery walk will be hosted in the venue of some of Nathan's art, with prints for sale at the merch desk. Additionally, a raffle will be held all night with multiple prizes up for grabs, including prints of Nath's art, merch packs donated from bands that far and wide (from Geelong, Melbourne, Sydney and more), and Nathan-inspired art created by local artists.

Nathan – we miss you terribly, brother. You're a muse and hero to many, loved and adored by so many more, and you'll never be forgotten. We'll be chugging beers and splitting our pants trying to high kick like you all night mate! Rest easy friend, see you in the next life xx

All proceeds from this event will be donated to cancer research in Nathan's name.
