Folk / Blues Rock / Western Americana
Hatchling blends the raw emotion of folk, the cathartic energy of blues rock and the distinct lyrical flair of western Americana. The music is emotionally charged, often stemming from a confessional yet confrontational alter ego. While Hatchling forms deeply personal narratives in her songwriting, the concepts become relatable through clever lyricism, juxtaposing strength and vulnerability to capture what it truly means to be a woman.
Taking the Lazybones stage in celebration of the long-awaited debut 5-track EP dropping this November: “My debut EP encapsulates the mayhem of my emotions from the past couple of years. It revolves around my personal analysis of my relationship with others as well as myself and holds a great deal of pain, obsession, defiance, self exploration and growth. Through all these contrasting moments in life, it was integral that Ireflect through song, and therapeutically share my voice the most fulfilling way I know how"
