It is with great disappointment and sadness that following extensive consideration and consultation with all key stakeholders and NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service, the promoters of Greek Island have had to make the heartbreaking decision to cancel its upcoming festival dates.

The promoters were hopeful and optimistic when the festival was rescheduled from its original dates to Friday 8 April  – Sunday 10 April 2022, that mother nature would permit the festival to take place. Unfortunately the toll from unprecedented wild weather over the past few weeks has caused significant flooding to Clark Island deeming it unsafe to hold the event.

The overall safety and experience of Island guests and staff are paramount and reports of further rainfall over the coming week left the Greek Island team with no choice but to cancel the events.

The promoters sincerely apologise for any disappointment and inconvenience caused and look forward to welcoming all guests back next year.

Time to pack your bags and head to Greek Island in Sydney Harbour!

Brought to you by the crew behind the award-winning Wine Island, Greek Island is a 3-day holiday festival transforming the picturesque Clark Island on Sydney Harbour into an oasis of blue and white.

From Friday 8 April to Sunday 10 April Greek Island will showcase an epic line up of Greek cuisine, imported wine, beer, spirits and bespoke cocktail bars. Holidaymakers will also be able to discover Mt Olympus for live Greek music and dancing, Santorini Spa for total relaxation or head to the Mykonos seaside stage to party with some of Australia’s best DJs.

The Mediterranean vibes start as soon as all jetsetters board the ferries to travel over seas to Greek Island, receiving a welcome drink on their short journey to paradise.

Once on the island guests can feed their curiosity at one of many Greek Tavernas lining the foreshore showcasing Greek Gods such as Peter Conistis (Alpha, and his brand new restaurant Ploos - opening in Summer), along with Kazzi Beach Greek, Lambda, Lookoomania and more.  There'll be an abundance of fried calamari and school prawns, grilled octopus, spanikopita, souvlaki, gyros, loukoumades and other epicurean delights!  Live cooking demos will also be on offer pulling the lid of the Mediterranean diet.

All this can be washed down with a refreshing glass ouzo, frouzo, tsipouro, cocktail, beer, wine, frappe, coffee and more as you soak in the vacation views.

Time to get your Greek on.
