Great Northern Darwin Cup Carnival
The 2022 Great Northern Darwin Cup Carnival is on sale now!
The Territory’s biggest social and sporting event sees over 40,000 racegoers in attendance each year for all the colour, fashion and excitement of thoroughbred racing in the Top End, culminating in the Great Northern Darwin Cup on Monday August 1, 2022.
The Carnival Pass gives you General Admission access for all 8 days of carnival, including Bet365 Palmerston Sprint Day and Great Northern Darwin Cup Day.
The Darwin Guineas is an iconic start to the month-long Darwin Cup Carnival, and features the first leg of the $100,000 Ladbrokes Triple Crown.
A Day for the family, the AUFS Chief Minister’s Cup Day is popular for all ages with activities like face painting, jumping castles and more.
One of the most beloved days of the carnival, with Fashions on the Field and an array of hospitality options around the course to suit any taste.
Black and white reigns supreme on Derby Day, one of the most prestigious days during the carnival, with Fashions on the Field and a number of hospitality options available.
Day 5 provides the last opportunity for Cup hopefuls to make the field for the big one on the final day of the Carnival. The 1600m event is one of 7 top-quality races that day.
On the track, it’s all about the sprinters, vying for the cup over 1300m. Off the Track, it’s the time to impress. The leading figures in NT business can all be found track-side.

Off the track, the Silk Laser Clinics Fashions on the Field penultimate heat sees a riot of colour, as the fashionable seek entry into the finals on Great Northern Darwin Cup Day.
