Grapes of Mirth - Coonawarra is six hours of comedy, wine, music, and good times at Penley Estate in the Coonawarra.

This is the fifth time Grapes of Mirth have brought their touring event to Coonawarra and as always, we are bringing with us an incredible line-up of Australia’s funniest people.
Headlining in Coonawarra for the first time is Australian comedy icon Dave Hughes. Finding a spare day in Hughesy’s calendar is no easy task, so we are thrilled to finally be bringing him with us.
Also gracing the main stage are Triple J host Michael Hing; winner of the best show award at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Geraldine Hickey; one of the busiest (and funniest) women in Australian showbusiness Lizzy Hoo, and Prue Blake, a comedian who has set the comedy scene alight since winning national comedy competition Raw Comedy in 2021.
MCing proceedings is Grapes of Mirth founder and Head Clown Merrick Watts.
Grapes of Mirth provides the ultimate festival day with five headline comedy sets, a host with the most, and some sweet DJ tunes to keep you entertained before, between, and after the comedy has ended.
This is an 18+ event, because there are comedians involved, and well, because there are comedians involved.

All tickets include your very own take-home wine glass.
Please note this is an outdoor event - there is no allocated seating - grab your friends, your picnic rug or chair, and join us on the lawns at Penley Estate.
SEATING & BUS INFORMATION
Seating - Penley Estate's beautiful grounds will be set up with areas to accommodate picnic blankets, low and high back foldable chairs. Please BYO picnic rugs and foldable chairs, to make yourself nice and comfortable for the day. The lower you are to the ground, the closer to the stage you'll be. Empty soft cooler bags and water bottles are also permitted (please no eskys). Bag checks will be conducted upon entry for prohibited items.
Buses - there are return buses running from Penola, Mount Gambier and Naracoorte. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to departure.
