Australian global dance export, Go Freek, is about as fond of generic club music as he is correct spelling. Signing early to electronic label, and global tastemaker in dance music, Sweat It Out, it didn’t take long before some of the worlds biggest artists took note as Go Freek shot from label young blood, to Sweat It Out main man.
2019 has seen Go Freek continue to path his way as one of the most eclectic producers in Australia, with recent single ‘Love Is The Weapon’ clocking up over 1 million streams and receiving a spot add on Triple J. Go Freek also boast multiple ARIA Club Chart Top 10s, including record breaking #1 collaboration with Dom Dolla on ‘Define’.
Following all this commercial and club success, it wasn’t long before artists such as Pnau, Billy Kenny, Crookers, What So Not and Nyxen came knocking on their door for a Gutter Tech remix. In-between playing boat parties in Croatia and Freeking up the stages at festivals like EDC Las Vegas, Paradisco, Beyond Wonderland and UP DOWN Festival, they’ve also managed to collaborate with vocalists such as Dances With White Girls and Yeah Boy.
Having received consistent support from the likes of Idris Elba, FISHER, Camelphat, Claptone, Anna Lunoe, Christian Martin, Porter Robinson and Diplo to name a few, Go Freek has readily filled a gap in modern dance music with a truly unique sound and heaving live sets.
