Floodlights make raw, honest, dynamic rock music that melds ‘80s alternative rock with ‘90s New Zealand jangle-pop. Their live performance is intimate at times, intertwined with large powerful outbursts. 

In 2019 their sold out self-released debut 10” vinyl EP ‘Backyard’, containing the single ‘Nullarbor’, gained them an abundance of attention globally. With a reissue of the EP from Spunk Records and release of their debut LP ‘From a View’ the band gained more attention featured everywhere from KEXP (Seattle) to Rough Trade Transmissions (UK).

Recently playing to sell out shows across the nation, from Noosa to Geelong, and a sell out Secret Sound’s Flood Aid show at the Bangalow Town Hall. Floodlights are now in the studio working on their follow up album which we will see the first taste of later this year.

Brunswick Ballroom will be operating under the current Victorian State Government guidelines as we continue to live with this pandemic. 

The venue will be taking a number of precautionary measures to ensure patron safety, including:
 - Hand sanitiser dispensers
 - Signage and social distancing markers throughout the venue
 - Regular sanitising of the venue and full clean between sittings

The Brunswick Ballroom also strives to improve our practices when it comes to sustainability and to reduce our carbon footprint. We don’t sell or provide plastic water bottles.

Photo ID is essential, acceptable ID is a current and valid Australian Photo Drivers Licence, State Approved ‘Proof of Age’ card or Passport.
