Joelistics and Charlie Needs Braces continue the Family Jams series in the City of Moreland bringing the best of Melbourne’s diverse, original live music scene to kids aged 0-12 and their elders.

Joel Ma is an artist, musician and producer who lives in Melbourne, Victoria. Best known for his work as rapper-producer Joelistics, he is also a multi instrumentalist and songwriter known for his work in alt-rap group TZU as well as in the experimental instrumental group Peril Symphony

Charlie Needs Braces, is the latest project from Naarm musician Charlie Woods. Charlie is a proud GuriNgai woman, a direct descendant of Bungaree and Matora. The lands running from the central coast of NSW along the mouth of the Hawkesbury river and into Northern Sydney. Having played on stage with bands such as Teskey Brothers ,The Seven Ups, Ogopogo, WVR BABY, TEK TEK Ensemble, Charlie is venturing out on her own to launch the solo project.

Family Jams is presented by Riot Baby and Charlie Woods, and is part of Resonate. Resonate is part of On the Road Again, a Victorian Government initiative to bring live music back across the state.


**Please be aware that this is a live music event and volume levels will be moderate - we keep levels at a low decibel range but do suggest looking into kids' ear muffs if there is any concern. We recommend something like this**

 

 



TICKETING INFO 

Brunswick Ballroom will be operating under the current Victorian State Government guidelines as we continue to live with this pandemic. 

The venue will be taking a number of precautionary measures to ensure patron safety, including:
 - Hand sanitiser dispensers
 - Signage and social distancing markers throughout the venue
 - Regular sanitising of the venue and full clean between sittings

The Brunswick Ballroom also strives to improve our practices when it comes to sustainability and to reduce our carbon footprint. We don’t sell or provide plastic water bottles.

Photo ID is essential, acceptable ID is a current and valid Australian Photo Drivers Licence, State Approved ‘Proof of Age’ card or Passport.
