Fairgrounds Festival returns to Berry NSW on Friday 2 December and Sat 3 December 2016, with a line-up including Rodriguez, The Tallest Man On Earth, Angel Olsen, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard and many more.

Establishing itself is one of the most unique new events in the Australian music calendar, last year's Fairgrounds Festival fuelled the imaginations of punters with its carnival atmosphere, earthly regional flavours, and quality line-up. Now, in its sophomore year, Fairgrounds returns to the historic township of Berry with live music over two nights, an expanded mini-Fairgrounds for kids, plus a safari of food and artisan delights. Fairgrounds Festival 2016 promises to be a weekend full of wonder for the whole family.

Fairgrounds 2016 promises a return to the relaxed country surrounds, welcoming atmosphere and careful curation that made last year such a runaway success. It also opens a brand new chapter, introducing music to opening night: Friday 2 December.

Following what seemed a prophetic screening of Searching for Sugar Man in 2015, the team at Fairgrounds are absolutely thrilled to welcome the enigmatic Rodriguez to play the expanded Friday night, alongside savage rock firebrands The Drones and the prolific kings of modern day psychedelia, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard.

The journey continues on Saturday 3 December with a full day of world-class music. Swedish folk troubadour The Tallest Man on Earth will perform with his full band for the first ever time in Australia, Canadian duo Japandroids will ignite a blaze of rock 'n roll glory, Angel Olsen will pierce hearts and Jagwar Ma will share their monolithic acid pop. The inimitable Sarah Blasko will also be gracing Berry's humble soil, alongside alluring up-and-comer Julia Jacklin, soulful crooner Son Little, DIY punks Sheer Mag, Tennessee's stunning Julien Baker as well as the critically revered Big Scary.

Fairgrounds Festival will also be introducing more accommodation options. There will be the Fairgrounds Rivercamp for over-18s, the Fairgrounds Family Adventure Camp for families with activities and breakfast each day, and Fairgrounds Pop Up Hotel (Glamping) for the luxurious festival experience - including 5 star breakfast before rolling into the festival each day.

The event will also feature an expanded kid's area, the wildly popular Record Fair and a vastly multiplied array of local delicious food vendors that bring all the tastes of the South Coast.

Children Under 12 able to register to attend for free with adult chaperone.
