Blues/Soul
Debut NSW show for Dustyn (with band). Supported by Kathleen Halloran (solo) (Kate Ceberano).
Dustyn is the debut solo project of Dusty Lee Stephensen (WANDERERS, 27 Club), his midnight movements of clarity, self-acceptance, and cloud-free beginnings.
Drawing on inspiration from George Harrison to Frank Ocean & Buckley to Hendrix, Dustyn’s ‘Midnight Movements’ are deeply woven melodic journeys that allow his falsetto and his fingers to tell a unique story in a way that feels familiar and brand new all at once.
Dustyn brings classic sounds to a new generation, timeless music that will undoubtedly become an Australian staple
Dusty Stephensen on Vox and Guitar, Evan Mannell on Drums, Tim Curnick on Bass & Shannon Sitt on Keys
Kathleen Halloran has performed with the likes of Kate Ceberano, Katie Noonan, Felix Riebl (The Cat Empire), Iva Davies and Tania Doko to name a few. As a session musician, her guitar playing has been heard on countless recordings, in orchestra pits for theatre productions, and on major festivals all around the country. Witness this virtuosic guitarist and compelling songwriter making the journey into their own limelight, from side-woman to solo artist. If you’re a lover of great guitar playing, or simply a lover of a great musical experience, this intimate solo show is one not to miss.
