Secret Sounds along with Adelaide based Five Four Entertainment and Groove are thrilled to announce SUMMER SOUNDS FESTIVAL, a new SA Health approved concert summer series that is set to bring live music, summer sounds and all the party vibes back to South Australia!

Rolling out the good times at the lush, oh so central and easily accessible Bonython Park, Adelaide from 08 January to 31 January, Summer Sounds’ 16 date run of shows includes Aussie icons, triple j favourites, a bunch of the hottest newcomers and a couple of supersized sing-alongs.

Patrons will have the choice of booking a VIP, Gold, Silver or Bronze Party Pod. Each pod is an island oasis for a group of 4 or 6 people and decked out with its own esky of pre ordered drinks and tasty snacks.

Singing…check. Dancing…check. The Party Pods are ready for all the action you’ve been missing!

Alongside pre ordered drinks, patrons will be able to order additional beverages at the show through the Summer Sounds event app, which will then be delivered directly to their Party Pod via a fleet of golf buggy mobile bars. It’s the VIP treatment you’ve always dreamed of!

For those who need a little extra snackage on the day, alongside the pre order options there’ll also be a range of food trucks at the ready.

So check out the lineup, wrangle your mates and get ready to return to live music programming as usual this December and January as Summer Sounds brings the festival feels back to Adelaide

DUNE RATS

Dune Rats are the band you’re guaranteed to always have a ball with. They’re three mates from Brisbane who play fast, loud and with the perfect amount of humour, slipping playful lines into their tracks that are sure to put a cheeky smile on your face. They are so unapologetically themselves, with tracks like Too Tough Terry, Bullshit and Scott Green firmly planting their stoner-punk-rock style into the Australian scene.

THE CHATS

Since their 2017 release, Smoko, went viral, The Chats have become something of a national icon. Notorious for their loud & chaotic live shows fuelled by their zero effs attitude, the band quickly found fans in the likes of Dave Grohl, Josh Homme & Iggy Pop. With track names like Pub Feed, AC/DC CD and Mum Stole My Darts, it’s no wonder The Chats hold a special place in the hearts of their Australian fans.

DEAR SEATTLE

Dear Seattle are the melodic, sing along, beer-in-the-air, headbanging-with-heart punk rock band you’ve been waiting for. One part mosh pit, and one-part love letter - with a dash of VB - the band have created a truly unique and powerful style of song writing that’s connecting with fans across Australia and the rest of the world. Their breakout single, The Meadows launched them onto the scene in 2017, and they’ve been full steam ahead ever since.

TEENAGE JOANS

Since bursting onto the scene just one year ago, indie/pop-punk duo, Teenage Joans have hit the ground running, already playing festival sets at the likes of Laneway Festival and A Day Of Clarity in 2019. They sold out their first headline show, and were soon after voted “South Australian Best Live Act” at the National Live Music Awards.
