DRAX PROJECT ANNOUNCE FIRST HEADLINE SHOWS IN AUSTRALIA

SET TIMES

8pm - DOORS

8.30pm - MATILDA PEARL

9.30pm - DRAX PROJECT

Multi ARIA platinum group Drax Project took the music world by storm in 2019 - rising from buskers in New Zealand to the US Top 40 and touring Europe with Camilla Cabello and Christina Aguilera.

Hot on the heels of their new single Atmosphere - this winter, Drax Project finally make their Australian headline debuts in Melbourne and Sydney - after the Covid-19 cancellations of their two intended Sydney shows in March 2020.

"We were so gutted Covid kept us from coming over in 2020 - we’ve been waiting a long time to come and play for you and to share some of our new music too; we couldn’t be more excited for these shows!”- Drax Project

The Woke Up Late and Catching Feelings hitmakers - Shaan Singh, Ben O’Leary, SamThomson and Matt Beachen - were fast establishing themselves as one of the world’s emerging ‘must see’ live acts - with their high energy live performances, huge drops and soaring melodies seeing them invited to support the likes of Ed Sheeran, Lorde, Camilla Cabello, Brian McKnight, Christina Aguilera and Gorillaz Sound System, along with putting in killer performances at events like Rolling Stone Magazine's Coachella Party and the I Heart Festival in Las Vegas.

The extremely radio friendly new single Atmosphere is the first release off Drax Project's first studio album since 2019 and indicates emphatically that after a couple of years in splendid isolation, the boys are well and truly ready to take off again!

Drax Project will bring this energy to Melbourne’s Howler and Sydney’s Oxford Art Factory for two intimate club shows on June 29th, and July 6th 2023.
