The man behind the cult hit comedy show Rugby League The Musical, once again turns his satirical spin on Australia’s summer obsession. And with the T20 World Cup coming up in 2020, there was no choice but to name it Cricket - The Musical’s T20 Season.
Produced and performed by Australia’s hardest working Musical Sports Satirist, Denis Carnahan, Cricket - The Musical’s 20 Season investigates the game’s history, treachery, villainy, facial hair, illegal abrasives and World Cup anomalies.
His songs about Stuart Broad’s sportsmanship, MCC selection policies, and Mitchell Johnson’s moustache and other ports have had millions of hits on YouTube. Now he’s bringing them to life on stage, along with songs, sketches and caricatures celebrating the many controversies of this summer’s matches.
Cricket - The Musical’s T20 Season starts at The Bridge Hotel, Rozelle, Mondays 6, 13 & 20 January 2020.
