Sound As Ever 90-99 are proud to announce that indie pop-rock enigmas Cordrazine will celebrate 25 years since first taking the stage with a special anniversary show on November 5 at Howler.
The Melbourne guitar band released the ARIA Top 10 album From Here To Wherever in April 1998 which featured radio favourites such as ‘Crazy’ (finished #17 in Triple J’s Hottest 100 in 1997), ‘Clearlight’ and ‘Memorial Drive’.
However, Cordrazine surprised critics and disappointed fans by quietly disbanding later that same year.
Cordrazine made a surprise return in 2010 to release and launch their beautiful Always Coming Down album before promptly disappearing from the musical landscape again.
With 2022 being a major milestone year for the band, now seems like the perfect time to regroup for a special live performance.
Cordrazine will be joined by the recently reformed Geelong based 90s guitar band Greenhouse along with Melbourne indie darlings The Killjoys (in trio mode).
Cordrazine will have copies of the soon to be re-released Here To Wherever and Time To Leave titles on vinyl and as a special bonus, the first 200 people through the doors on the night will receive an acoustic CD of Hamish Cowan performing some of Cordrazine’s catalogue.
