After nine sold-out events around the country, Grapes of Mirth is heading to the Pyrenees for the first time!

Five of Australia’s best comedians and your host Merrick Watts will make their way to the Avoca Shire Turf Club for 6 hours of comedy, music, wine, gourmet grub and the most amazing festival vibes.

As for the wine, get ready for a tasting experience like no other, with 10+ wine producers from the Pyrenees there on the day, pouring their wines.

DAVE HUGHES - The host of 'Hughesy We Have A Problem' and one half of  HIT Network's 'Hughesy & Kate'. Dave is back for another Grapes of Mirth stint, after appearing at the very first GoM event in early 2017. The great man is in great form and it's great to have him back!

GERALDINE HICKEY - Geraldine is soon to appear in the television series 'Metro Sexual' and has been a regular on 'Tonightly'. WINNER of the 'Piece of Wood Award' (which is actually a lot better than it sounds) at the Melbourne Comedy Festival 2019; she is in red hot stand-up form.

NAZEEM HUSSAIN - Star of 'Orange is The New Brown' and survivor of 'I'm a celebrity get me out of here', Naz is one of the most likeable comedians in the biz. Super funny, utterly engaging and adored by punters and comedians alike. Don't miss his set!

DANIELLE WALKER - WINNER of the 'Best Newcomer' award at the 2018 Melbourne International Comedy Festival. Danielle recently appeared as 'Ranger Danny' alongside stars KateMcLennan and Kate McCartney on the show everyone is talking about, "GetKrack!n" for ABC TV.

NATH VALVO - WINNER: Best Comedy Adelaide Fringe Weekly Awards 2018 and a regular across all TV networks, Nath is going from strength to strength as a performer and stand-up and is in high demand, both in Australia and internationally. He's a true craftsman of the art form.

MERRICK WATTS - The "Merric" from Merrick and Rosso. Mez, as he is affectionately known, has worked at almost every radio and TV station in the country. Mez also appears regularly on 'Studio 10' where he often ruins their infomercials and cooking segments. Mez loves wine, he also loves writing about himself in the 3rd person!

Grapes of Mirth provides the ultimate festival day with five headline comedy sets, a host with the most, and some sweet DJ tunes (brought to you by the one and only, DJ PEDRO MOSHMAN!) to keep you entertained before, between, and after the comedy has ended.

SEATING, BUS & CAMPING INFORMATION

Seating - This is a seated indoor event (chairs will be provided), with easy access to the lush lawns that surround the racecourse. Although not necessary, picnic rugs are permitted, but no other furniture will be allowed in. Empty soft cooler bags and water bottles are permitted (no eskys). Bag checks conducted upon entry for prohibited items.

Buses - available from Ballarat, Bendigo, and Maryborough.

Onsite Camping ($15 per campsite) - can be booked directly with the venue here
