Bluesfest Tours presents
KENNY WAYNE SHEPHERD
(USA)
Ledbetter Heights 30th Anniversary Tour

Five-time GRAMMY-nominated artist Kenny Wayne Shepherd returns to Australia for the first time in six years, performing live at Northcote Theatre, Melbourne, on Wednesday 1 April 2026.

Recognised as one of the most dynamic and influential guitarists of his generation, Shepherd is celebrating the 30th Anniversary of his breakthrough album Ledbetter Heights — the record that helped shape modern blues-rock and established him as a global force in American roots music.

Since his last Australian tour in 2018, Shepherd has continued to evolve as both guitarist and songwriter, releasing critically acclaimed albums and collaborating with some of the genre’s most respected names. His fiery guitar tone, emotional phrasing and powerful live performances have made him a consistent favourite on international stages.

The Northcote Theatre concert will feature career-spanning hits including Blue on Black, Deja Voodoo and Born with a Broken Heart, alongside material from his recent releases.

After a six-year break from Australian stages, Kenny Wayne Shepherd returns to deliver an unmissable night of world-class musicianship and blues-infused rock energy.
