UK mega band Busted make their way to Australia with special guests Between You & Me this October, November.

Busted, formed in 2000 in Essex, exploded into the scene with their debut single ‘What I Go To School For’ which peaked at #3 on the UK charts. From 2000 to 2003, the band rolled out a succession of hits including #1 singles, ‘Crashed The Wedding’, ‘Thunderbirds Are Go’, and ‘You Said No’, and Top #3 singles ‘Year 3000’, ‘Air Hostess’ and ‘Sleeping With The Light On’.

Busted have had four UK number one-singles, two BRIT awards, and sold over 5 million records worldwide with their four studio albums. The group came back together to celebrate 20 years of Busted last year, releasing their ‘Greatest Hits 2.0’ album, which became the UK’s #1 Album in September. Their Greatest Hits 2.0 tour was the biggest UK Arena tour of 2023, playing to over 200,000 people. The album featured 15 guests including Simple Plan, All Time Low, and HANSON, and debuted a new track from the trio, ‘Good One’. In January 2024, the band released a live and extended version of the Greatest Hits 2.0 album, which featured new track ‘One Of These Days’.

“Finally…. Can’t believe Busted have never actually played in Australia. We are so excited to get over to the east coast this Oct/Nov. It’s gonna be mega! Let’s jump around and lose our minds!!! Busted are fully back! “

Over the years, the band have left an amazing legacy with bands and artists including Good Charlotte, Ed Sheeran, Lewis Capaldi, 5 Seconds Of Summer and The Vamps all taking inspiration from the group. Such was their impact, The Jonas Brothers covered Busted’s ‘Year 3000’ on their debut album, with the single selling over 1 million copies.

Joining Busted on the tour will be Australian alternative group, Between You & Me, who will bring their signature sound of Pop-Punk to the stage.
