Simone & her star-studded band summon the legends of the blues with the songs and stories of Bessie Smith, Robert Johnson, Amy Winehouse, Sammy Davis Jnr and more !

Simone Craddock won the 2020 FRINGE WORLD Music & Musicals Award for her critically acclaimed, box office smash-hit, Nina, Love Simone. In 2021 and 2022 she went on to sweep the Music & Musicals awards for her sold-out seasons of Ella & Louis and Birth of the Blues! Tonight she returns to The Duke of George with her band of Perth Powerhouses, for a toe-tapping, hip-swaying, life-affirming resurrection of Birth of the Blues!
