After a spectacular sell out album launch at Howler, Ben Abraham ends his global album launch run with a special pop up show show at his home town at the Toff in Town.
Ben Abraham, the humble, honest and excellent modern folk artist from Melbourne has quietly been building international acclaim and adulation for his personal and heartfelt cinematic folk music.
On Friday, March 4th he celebrated the long awaited global release of his debut album 'Sirens' through Inertia Music (legendary indie label Secretly Canadian ex Australia and New Zealand) with a whirlwind tour of the US, UK and Europe before heading home to launch the record with intimate live shows right across the country.
In contract to its ethereal title, Ben Abraham's 'Sirens' is deeply human. A musical documentary of loss, longing and growth, and while this growth is personal in the songs, Abraham has called on many friends, collaborators and peers in the album's construction including Jonno Steer, percussionist Leigh Fisher, Gossling and Gotye.
