Hailing from the Northern Rivers and raised in Brisbane, Asha Jefferies is best known for her somber, melancholy pop songs - combining the patience of folk with the urgency of youth. Following the success of her debut EP ‘Hold Yourself Together’ in 2019, Asha Jefferies has since toured Australia extensively, sharing the stage with artists such as Julia Jacklin, Lime Cordiale and City and Colour. Singles from the EP received high rotation on Triple J, as well as hit single 'Everybody Talks' winning a Queensland Music Award.

With a year off from touring, and much time to process and enable introspection, Asha Jefferies emerges with her new single ‘Break’, an ode to surrender. Produced by Ian Haug (Powderfinger), 'Break' captures the emotive and rich precision of needing to let go of ruptured expectations. Accompanied by her full band, expect a soundscape of dreamy and delicate stories flooded in love, loss and surrender.
