12 months on from the birth of CLUB Ctrl, we get ready to ring in the 1st Birthday bell @ The Abercrombie on Saturday 15th July with another stacked line-up over 2 levels. Launching post-pandemic as venues started to re-open we hosted many unforgettable late nights and early mornings at rave den Club 77, before upsizing to our new home at The Abercrombie in May this year.

We acknowledge the Gadigal People of the Eora Nation, the Traditional Custodians of the land where we host our event and we pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging. For the 1st Birthday we welcome Melbourne/Naarm’s IN2STELLAR as our very special guests alongside GiRLTHING founder and Sydney icon Jacqui Cunningham, the first ever DJ set from Forge; an exciting new artist taking inspo from the early days of rave, and Polar – a rising Sydney artist electronic artist who has supported Willo and Jordan Brando in recent times. Upstairs on Level 1 we welcome our buddies Banquet DJs to get rowdy alongside esteemed disc-jockeys Korky Buchek, Loosie Grind and Oscill8.

DJ duo IN2STELLAR are making huge waves on Australia’s underground dance scene right now. Their club night Neurotiq Erotiq is the stuff of legend, with guests including Logic1000, Juicy Romance, moktar, Tornado Wallace, Eclair Fifi and Helena Hauff coming through on the reg. They join us at CLUB Ctrl as part of a national tour to celebrate their debut IN2STELLAR EP (out now on Phenomena Records) and Sarah & Georgia have been raising the bar with their sets at Pitch Festival and Strawberry Fields. Bring it on!
