After releasing their debut self titled album to international acclaim in 2012, San Cisco return with their latest offering, Gracetown. Taking the title from a laid back coastal town in South Western Australia, Gracetown showcases a more worldly approach to life, exploring the tyranny of love, displacement, homesickness, heartache and heartbreak, via disco, funk, soul and hip hop undertones.

However, don't go jumping to the conclusion that Josh, Scarlett, Jordi and Nick have lost their trademark catchiness and lyrical wit - that is still very much present. This is cleverly crafted storytelling that anyone can relate to.

Singles "RUN" and "Too Much Time Together" have already taken over the airwaves and now it's time for the world to hear more. The band will be touring around Australia in April and May, alongside the Groovin the Moo festival. The tour includes some all ages and under 18 matinee shows and tickets go on sale Thursday 26th February, local time.

In other touring news, San Cisco will head to the US, UK and Europe in March and April, with LA and New York dates already sold out. They'll also return to SXSW and for the first time, due to relentless requests from fans, will play in Mexico.

Having enlisted the help of producer and long term collaborator, Steve Schram, this album has a deeper, looser feel that signals a new sophistication and maturity. Less sun and more muted shades, so to speak, as well as a deeper exploration of the ache, paranoia and hormonal rush that is love. The album shows San Cisco growing up, and this growing up is scary and magnificent to behold.
