Get your funk on at one of Melbourne’s oldest bowling clubs, experiencing the sounds of Cookin’ On 3 Burners, Australia’s foremost soul inspired Hammond organ trio, and the infamous The Putback.
Combining funk, soul, organ jazz and boogaloo, Cookin' On 3 Burners takes the sounds of the past and serves them up in a way that is both sentimental and now.
The PutBacks are one of the premier funk outfits in Australia, delivering soul in a way that has seen them chosen for some of the biggest names in funk and soul. The PutBacks have recently collaborated with Indigenous soul singer Emma Donovan, releasing the critically acclaimed album, Dawn.
DJ MZRIZK will be spinning tracks in between performances.
