CHILDREN OF THE KAFTAN - PEACE, LOVE & MUSIC SHOW Featuring PAT POWELL as THE KAFTAN - TOUR DE CURE FUNDRAISER
Children of the Kaftan is a production based upon a group of friends who played music together many years ago, their collective opinion of modern day music is that it has very little soul, is totally disposable and doesn’t stack up against the music of the late sixties and early seventies … this of course is only an opinion.
By an amazing coincidence, or is it, they all turn up at the same time, at an old fave venue, and after a short bout of reminiscing, they re-unite their once famous band Children of the Kaftan.
This Peace, Love & Music Show takes you on a magical tour back to the times where hippies wandered freely, peace signs were trending and love, harmony and understanding were all a part of the Age of Aquarius.
Featuring the classics; San Francisco, Mr. Tambourine Man, The Beat Goes On, California Dreaming, Dizzy, Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds, Age Of Aquarius, Big Yellow Taxi, Spirit In The Sky, A Natural Woman, Everyday People, I Got You Babe, A Whiter Shade Of Pale & Hey Joe, this show will surely bring back those happy memories.
